December in Ghana is hot, relatively dry, and generally sunny. Temperatures are typically warm throughout the day, with Accra averaging around 31°C (88°F) during the daytime and 24°C (75°F) at night. December also marks the beginning of the Harmattan season, which can bring dry, dusty winds and occasional hazy skies.
Travel logistics

Once you arrive in Accra, your airport transfer to the hotel is included. We recommend booking your flight early to secure the best combination of price and schedule. When comparing flights, consider total travel time, number and length of connections, baggage allowances, and change or cancellation policies—not simply the lowest fare.
Country entry requirements
A valid passport is required for travel to Ghana, and a visa may also be required depending on the passport you hold. Guests are responsible for ensuring they have the appropriate travel documents before departure. Historically, travellers to Ghana have been required to present a valid yellow fever vaccination certificate upon arrival. Please check the expiration date if you already have one. We recommend reviewing official requirements well in advance of your trip and speaking with a healthcare professional or travel clinic about any recommended vaccinations or medications for Ghana. Entry and health requirements can change, so each guest is responsible for confirming and meeting the requirements applicable to their individual circumstances before traveling.
